The POWRIG Waterproof Dive Case for Insta360 X3 (Model WP-ONEX3) is a purpose-built underwater housing that protects your Insta360 X3 camera at depths of up to 40 meters (131 feet) — 10 meters deeper than standard 30m housings. Whether you're exploring a coral reef, filming a surf session from below, or capturing immersive 360° footage of a wreck dive, this case keeps your X3 safe, dry, and shooting in full panoramic quality.
The transparent housing is precision-molded to fit the Insta360 X3 body exactly, with optical-grade clear covers over both lenses to maintain image clarity and seamless 360° stitching in post-production. A built-in 1/4"-20 threaded screw mount on the base lets you attach the case directly to any standard tripod, underwater tray, selfie stick, or extension pole.

No. This case (WP-ONEX3) is designed exclusively for the Insta360 X3. The X4 has a larger body and the ONE X2 has a smaller body — each requires its own specific housing.
This case is rated to 40 meters (131 feet), which is 10 meters deeper than standard 30m housings. This extra depth rating provides a safety margin when diving near the 30m recreational limit, and covers Advanced Open Water dive depths up to 40m.
Yes. The optical-grade transparent dome covers maintain clear visibility for both lenses, allowing Insta360's stitching algorithm to produce seamless 360° panoramas in the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio. Minor refraction at extreme angles is normal for all underwater housings.
No. The touchscreen is not accessible through the waterproof housing. Start recording and set your desired mode before sealing the case. The X3's buttons allow basic operation (start/stop recording) through the housing.
Place a small anti-fog insert or silica gel packet inside the housing before sealing. Avoid opening and closing the case in humid environments. If fogging occurs, dry both the camera and housing interior before re-sealing.
The case with the X3 inside will sink. For flotation, attach a floating hand grip or buoyancy arm to the 1/4"-20 screw mount on the base.
After each use, rinse with fresh water. Periodically remove the O-ring, clean it, inspect for nicks or debris, and apply a thin layer of silicone grease before reinstalling. Replace the O-ring if damaged or if the case fails a water test.
Absolutely. This case is ideal for any wet or dusty environment: snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, white-water rafting, pool photography, dusty off-road adventures, and more.
